A Car Built for Survival
Car building here has almost no limits: parts can be fitted to different vehicles regardless of what they were originally designed for. You can upgrade the suspension, engine and radiator, then adjust the position and angle of individual components with a special tool. You can tailor the look as well by installing different steering wheels, gear shifters, seats and extra parts. The roof can take a rack, crates and containers that expand your storage, which is especially important on long trips.
Survival takes more than good hardware; it also means constantly hunting for supplies. Around the world you can find melee and ranged weapons, ammo, healing items and armor, and some of that gear drops from defeated enemies. You can turn your car into a mobile shelter by mounting portable grub farms, dew collectors, plants and other sources of vital resources. Meat from animals and mutants can be butchered and cooked, and any finds you don't need can be sold to traders for rusty nuts, which serve as the local currency.
