This is a wonderful game with gorgeous art, inspired by one of the most popular anime series and manga in Japan, which shares the same name. According to the Japanese comics, Aragami is a god of vengeance with a rather unpredictable, quarrelsome nature who is always landing himself in one mess or another. But he has another side too. As a descendant of an ancient line and a member of a divine clan, he has the supernatural ability to absorb shadows and spirits into his body and his weapon, then control them to fight enemies and evil spirits and protect his clan. This power is destructive and very dangerous, and at the same time it eats away at the mind and soul of the god of vengeance. For as long as he can, he takes on all kinds of jobs for people and clients from every corner of the Earth to keep himself and his village supplied with money.
Building on this fairly popular Japanese story about an unpredictable minor god, the developers at Lince Works went further and came up with their own plot for the game. It begins when you, Aragami, are summoned by the prayers of a girl named Yamiko. She is being held prisoner in Kyuryu Castle. Your task is to carve a path to her through fear and shadow, defeat the enemies standing in your way, free the lady and uncover an unpleasant truth about yourself and your unique abilities.
The game can be played solo or with several players, so you can form a clan and defend yourselves together. The developers also promise a fantasy world, a deep and engaging 3D story about dark magic, plenty of combat scenes and ninja enemies, and a whole lot of unusual adventures and action. The game also includes subtitles.
Aragami 2 is being developed for all kinds of gaming platforms. You can find it in online stores and from the developers as a paid purchase, or download Aragami 2 for free on PC.
