London was a gloomy city in the Victorian era, which covered much of the 19th century, and that's exactly why it appealed to Arkane Studios, the team behind Dishonored. The game's city has a different name, though: Dunwall. It's home to Corvo Attano.
He was the protector and bodyguard of the Empress herself, but through a mysterious chain of events he failed to save her from death. Now he has to get to the bottom of it all, and that's no easy task, since Corvo is the prime suspect. In fact, nobody doubts his guilt, and on top of that the terror of the plague reigns all around. He has to hide behind a mask and tread very carefully, which is great news for fans of excellent stealth action!

- Crossbows and swords back up Corvo's supernatural abilities nicely.
- There are plenty of ways to reach your goal, including loud and bloody ones, quiet and bloody ones... and even some that are almost bloodless.
- Characters love to talk, and if not, they end up giving away secrets.
