FRUKT is an experimental sandbox centered on realistic humanoid physics and the consequences of different kinds of impact. You get complete freedom to act and can watch how damage to individual body parts affects a character's movement and condition. The voxel structure lets you alter bodies right in the middle of an experiment, and the internal organs and muscles are tied directly to how the humanoids behave. You can download FRUKT for PC for free if you want to explore an unusual model of physical interaction without the constraints of a story campaign.
A Body Fighting to Stay Upright
Character behavior revolves around the link between the body's physical state and how it moves. The humanoids try to stay on their feet, react to outside forces and shift their posture depending on what's happening around them. Muscle strength determines how well they can keep their balance, and the condition of their limbs affects whether they can move normally. Even the ground matters, so the same impact under different conditions can lead to a different result. All of this adds up to a system where body position is constantly changing in direct response to physical factors.
The humanoids' internal anatomy is part of the same model. The heart keeps the blood flowing, the brain controls the body, and the muscles supply the strength needed to move and stay balanced. Damaging a specific organ or body part can change how the character behaves from then on, so you see the consequences of your actions in more than just the visuals. Instead of fixed scenarios, the game gives you an open space for experiments, where the outcome emerges from the interplay of the voxel body, the organs and the physics.
