Among the countless games out there, plenty of curious options offer some pretty unexpected gameplay ideas. If you download Hacknet for free, for example, you set off on a truly unusual adventure in which you take on the role of a hacker. No, you won't be robbing banks or staging a coup. This time you are the right hand of a powerful hacker who, according to the media, was killed but in fact survived. Now it's time for revenge, and you will help him every step of the way.
The gameplay takes the form of a familiar electronic console where you use all kinds of functions, break into systems and connect the dots between different events. First you have to find whoever turned the hacker in and played a part in his capture. Then you will need to put your programming knowledge to work to shake off surveillance, and after that it's time for decisive action. The key is to keep a close eye on the whole process and make active use of every tool you have to get the result you need.
Even though the gameplay comes in a fairly unusual form, it's a lot of fun, especially if you have never done any programming before. There's no need to worry: just follow everything that's happening, try to make the right decisions and practice hacking and downloading the information you need. The mysterious professional hacker will be there to help, give hints and advise you on everything you need to know. Before long, the computer network will feel like an everyday place where you are completely at home. Good luck and happy hacking, because the success of the whole operation depends on how well you do it.
