How to Make an Atomic Bomb in Your Garden is a comedy sim about a man who clearly should have found something else to do. Instead of relaxing, he decides to throw himself into the most ridiculous project of his life. It all starts with harmless preparations, but his to-do list quickly fills up with strange research, a hunt for rare components and constant attempts to explain to everyone around him why such suspicious things are happening in his backyard.
The Worst Hobby on the Block
With every new stage, the task list keeps growing. You need to find funding, get hold of the necessary materials and somehow deal with the fallout of your own decisions. Trouble comes at you from literally every direction. Nosy neighbors start taking an unhealthy interest, all sorts of agencies ask awkward questions, and your stress level climbs right along with the scale of the whole scheme.
Despite the subject matter, the game is all about humor and absurd situations. Many events are deliberately pushed to the point of the grotesque and play out as a parody of survival games, building sims and crazy invention games. The result is a light, comical adventure where each new problem is more likely to make you laugh than make you want to give up.
