Kernel Hearts is an action RPG with a roguelike structure and co-op, where assaulting the Tower of Babel becomes an open challenge to the divine order. The M.A.G.I.A. squad climbs floor after floor, wiping out biblical creatures to keep the world from burning to ash. There are no holy goals here, only the climb, rage, improvisation and the will to survive until the next attempt.
Combos, Not Prayers
Combat runs on speed and aggression. Attacks, spells and dashes chain into tight combos where reflexes and a sense of rhythm matter. With up to four players in co-op, the chaos ramps up: strikes overlap, zones get locked down, and enemies crumble under coordinated pressure. Mistakes are punished instantly, and every victory feels like a step upward you had to tear loose.
Each climb ends with a Domain Guardian, a massive foe that tests your grasp of the mechanics and your team's discipline rather than your stats. Defeat rolls your consciousness back to a backup in the lab, but you keep your memories and experience. There is no shame in coming back; it is expected. What matters is that every new attempt starts with a fresh set of abilities.
