The sequel to Left 4 Dead has been announced. The original zombie apocalypse game earned the attention of a huge number of players, along with a string of gaming awards, thanks to its one-of-a-kind setting, its atmosphere and plenty of other strengths.
What the game offers:
- This co-op shooter rewrites the rules. You and your squad of friends get five campaigns, each set in a different location. You learn what it takes to survive in all sorts of conditions, from the city streets to the surrounding swamps, and pass through many places, including New Orleans, Savannah and more.
- The zombie apocalypse has spared only four people, and you play as one of them. To survive in this hostile world you get solid weaponry, mixing brand-new guns with versions from the first game.
- Your arsenal is not limited to firearms. When you come face to face with the enemy, do not back down. Grab a melee weapon instead: hack them apart with an axe, shred them with a chainsaw, or beat them to death with a frying pan. Or maybe a baseball bat is more your style? What matters is that you reach your goal and the enemy goes down.
- The enemies are not sleeping either. You will run into three new types of infected, plus regular zombies that are no less dangerous.
- The campaigns are not limited to co-op. Survival and Versus modes are included as well.
- Multiplayer has also been heavily reworked, so Left 4 Dead 2 is well worth a download.
