Lincoln Clay's Story
This time your main character is Lincoln Clay, an African American man who grew up in a far from easy neighborhood and was adopted by the pastor of a Catholic church. Despite his enlightened guardian, the young man soon ended up in a mob gang. He handled his jobs well and dreamed of bigger things, until the Vietnam War broke out. He was drafted and shipped straight off to the combat zone. There he went through his training, grew up and started seeing the world differently. His military training left its mark, and this was not a guy who would let anyone push him around. But he no longer wanted to be a criminal; he simply wanted to start his life over with a clean slate.
As you may remember, he used to belong to a gang. Its boss didn't want to let Lincoln go, but in the end he agreed, on the condition that Lincoln take part in one last job. That job turned out to be a showdown with another gang, an Italian one. A meeting was set up that was supposed to settle everything for good. But the rival gang turned out to be better prepared, and in the end everyone was killed, while Lincoln took a bullet to the head.
The bullet couldn't break our hero, though, and now he is ready to take revenge and destroy everything in his path. He plans to build up his reputation and bring the smaller gangs under his control, eventually putting together a mafia of his own. He has to do it not only for revenge, but also to drive the Italian mob out of his city. A hard and unpredictable path awaits you as a gangster who can rise from rags to riches. It will take hard work and fearlessness, and luckily his military training lets him give it everything he has.
