MISERY is a hardcore engineering simulator that puts you in charge of an underground colony after a global extinction event. Forget zombies. All you have here is wiring, logistics and demanding resource management.
Booting Up From Zero
The first 60 seconds walk you through the basics with one question: what will you bring to kick-start your self-sufficient base? Chemical reagents? Solar modules? Robotic tools? Once the blast hits, the real work begins: planning, building and running the numbers. The chaos stays on the other side of the door.
Your goal is to build a self-sustaining survival machine out of rooms, generators, ventilation, temperature control and AI modules. There is nothing mystical about it, just pure engineering. Even so, every assumption you make about your resources can cost you. Skip an optimization and something burns out. Run one cable too many and the whole system loses its balance. In this game, winning means being efficient.
Key Features
- Accurate simulation of underground life-support systems.
- Step-by-step construction planning that tracks load, heat and power draw.
- Deep technical design, from the type of generator you pick to the routes that carry power.
- Full autonomy is the ideal, and a single mistake in your layout can be the end.
