Politics The Game is a satirical adventure from Polish studio Simplicity Games, released on October 22, 2025. On Steam it goes by the name Sejm The Game. You play as a Polish member of parliament who founds a party of his own and tries to lead it to victory in the elections.
Building a Party From Nothing
The story starts with a single MP who has no connections and no approval rating. You create the party yourself and push it up the polls step by step. You'll recognize the other MPs in the game without any hints, since they resemble well-known Polish politicians, and each one has their own stats and abilities. The plot draws on current events in Polish politics, and the jokes land on every side, with no favorites. Every clash hits two meters at once: the hero's popularity and his self-esteem. If his self-esteem runs out, the MP has to resign.
Manure and the Marshal's Staff
Disputes are settled in turn-based battles, where wit and calculation win out over strength. The abilities fit the theme: you can bury an opponent under a mountain of manure, hit them with a shockwave from the Sejm Marshal's staff or unleash the spells of a mustachioed man in a bow tie. When things get rough, you can call in allies, and they too are nods to recognizable figures in Polish politics. Some abilities are hidden and can only be discovered as you play.
Mini-Games and Difficulty
Between battles you'll run into puzzles and mini-games that test your reflexes, timing and quick thinking. The game is easy to pick up, but on the highest difficulty you won't get far without a well-thought-out strategy. It is single-player only. According to the developers, AI was used for the voices and some of the music. The system requirements are modest.
