Prey (2006) is a well-crafted 3D shooter built on a version of the Doom 3 engine, and the action takes place aboard an unbelievably huge ship. It combines organic and cybernetic structures while ignoring gravity entirely, so you can walk on both the ceiling and the walls.
The ship holds several dimensions at once that you can travel between. The story is steeped in Native American lore, and the spirit hawk Talon is always at your side. You can also switch to an alternate dimension called Spirit Walk, where you get past some fairly dangerous obstacles and solve interesting puzzles.
