Project Warlock II is an action game that has you roasting a few imps with your staff, along with plenty more. It opens with Palmer, the Warlock's apprentice, waking up in a huge castle. His teacher is nowhere to be seen, the castle is swarming with demons, and only his one trusty weapon can help him deal with this evil and figure out what is going on. The young sorcerer has to pull himself together, reload his staff and reach the stronghold while fighting off all kinds of monsters.
The game picks up right after the events of the first chapter, and this time the main characters are three of the Warlock's apprentices. Each one is a master of their own craft, and all three have a different goal and a different reason for finding their teacher. The three apprentices are named Palmer, Urd and Kristen, and they must pass an exam in combat magic to prove they are worthy of the title of mage.
