Subnautica is a must-download for anyone who was captivated by the books of Jules Verne, especially the story of Captain Nemo, who conquered every ocean and many seas aboard the submarine Nautilus and made fascinating discoveries along the way. The legendary Jacques Cousteau comes to mind as well. In this game you also get to develop equipment, dive to incredible depths and explore the most breathtaking corners of the ocean.
This is an indie project from the studio Unknown Worlds Entertainment. The developer says Subnautica does not belong to any particular genre and offers something new. Still, you can spot RPG elements in it, because you are constantly growing and making discoveries. And making them is a real pleasure: the visuals are stunning, and you will want to keep staring at the screen, or rather at the underwater world.
