You already know disaster will strike in 10 hours, so every minute has to count. Explore the city, gather resources, reinforce your house and decide ahead of time what will actually help you make it through the invasion of the dead.
Use Every Hour Before the End
While the streets still belong to the living, head out to shops, supermarkets, hardware stores and markets to find everything you need. With limited money and time, you will have to choose between stocking up on food, water and fuel or fortifying your shelter. Keep track of your inventory with the Loot Spotter system, spot shortages of key resources early and get back home before your window to prepare closes.
Once the catastrophe begins, your home turns into a full-fledged fortress that you have to keep expanding and maintaining. Plan out the rooms yourself, place furniture and equipment, and set up spaces for storage, power generation and growing food. Grow the shelter as your needs increase, and put the supplies you stockpiled before the apocalypse to work so they help you hold out as long as possible.
