The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot is a crazy first-person action game where you can take out enemies not just with a sword but with basically anything that isn't nailed down. Kicked someone into spikes? It worked. Knocked them down the stairs? Also great. Hurled a table or a dead body into a crowd? Absolutely perfect. Everything around you keeps turning into a weapon, and an ordinary brawl very quickly starts looking like total chaos with magic, barrels and flying enemies.
Kicking Beats Swinging
Combat is deliberately made as dirty and freeform as possible. You can parry blows, roll out of the way, knock weapons out of enemies' hands, grab foes and throw them wherever you like. One goes flying into a fire, another drops into the water, and someone else catches a kicked red barrel right in the face. The game constantly nudges you away from a "fair" fight and toward the dumbest, funniest way to deal with the next mob.
Magic adds even more madness. Freeze enemies, zap them with lightning, set them on fire, lay traps, or simply take control of an enemy and start a brawl inside his own squad. And if you'd rather play it quiet, you can sneak past guards, hide in barrels, steal weapons and stab enemies in the back before they even realize what's going on.
