The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is presented here in the most complete edition of one of the greatest role-playing games of all time, from Bethesda Game Studios. A harsh northern land, dragons returning from legend and a level of freedom any RPG would envy are all here, and you can download Skyrim Anniversary Edition for free and write your own story in Tamriel right now.
The Legend of the Dovahkiin
You start as an ordinary prisoner who narrowly escapes execution at the very moment a dragon appears on the horizon. Soon it becomes clear that the blood of the Dovahkiin flows in your veins: you are the only one who can absorb dragon souls and stop the coming apocalypse. As an ancient evil rises from the ashes, the province is torn apart by a civil war between the Stormcloaks, who fight for independence, and the Imperial Legion, which defends the unity of the Empire.
Skyrim's open world has no artificial boundaries. The snowy peaks of the Throat of the World, the underground ruins of Dwemer cities, small fishing villages and the gloomy tombs of the draugr all hide a quest, an artifact or a surprise encounter at every point on the map. Following the main story is just as rewarding as simply wandering with no goal at all.
Your Own Path Through Every Guild
Character progression is not built on classes but on using your skills: the more often you cast spells or swing a two-handed sword, the stronger you become in that area. The Companions, the Thieves Guild, the Dark Brotherhood and the College of Winterhold each offer full storylines with their own intrigue, rewards and moral dilemmas.
The Best of Skyrim in One Package
The Anniversary Edition includes the original game, the Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn expansions, and more than 500 pieces of Creation Club content, from new dungeons and armor to a fishing system and a survival mode with cold and hunger.
