Your job is to build a convenient, functional city. Choose your land, then raise homes and production buildings where your people will live and work. Improve the area with parks, churches, fountains and more so your citizens feel happier. Happy citizens work better and pay more taxes. The path of development is yours to choose: you can become a benevolent ruler or a tyrant. It all depends on your actions and the decisions you make.
The game has an event system that requires you to complete tasks in order to move forward. Treating your residents well and creating the best possible conditions can give you strength, but it also speeds up development dramatically. As a result, resources can run out quickly and your reign will come to an end. Do not forget that you may be a hero to some and a villain to others.
There is also a co-op mode on maps for up to four people. It offers huge opportunities and potential conflicts over vast amounts of resources.
