We can't wait to tell you the story of Alien: Isolation, because it ties directly into the plot of Ridley Scott's film Alien. Fifteen years have passed since the events aboard the Nostromo. Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda has grown up, but she never knew her mother. One day she learns that the Nostromo's black box is on Sevastopol, a station as remote a backwater as you could imagine. On top of that, this backwater is isolated (hence the game's title), and the people there live without hope... That alone is enough to be scary, but there's more. An Alien (scientific name: xenomorph) prowls the station, and it is the true master here, because nobody has a weapon capable of killing the bloodthirsty creature. The girl certainly doesn't have one, but she does have the will to get her hands on that information. That's the story Creative Assembly has in store for us. You can download Alien: Isolation for free right now.
