Horripilant is a creepy turn-based dungeon crawler with idle mechanics, puzzles and auto-battles, where every step deeper makes your hero stronger while also bringing him closer to his reckoning. You wake up old and battered in a dark corner of a forgotten dungeon. The air reeks of rot, the walls seem to breathe, and a barely visible sprout of some strange tree is the first sign that the descent is only just beginning.
A Gift With a Price
Progress through the floors comes down to step-by-step movement, fights and gathering resources. Each new material strengthens your gear and opens the way further down, but every upgrade has a downside. Passive growth goes hand in hand with automatic battles, where your preparation and choice of upgrades decide how each clash plays out.
The dungeon has more than a thousand levels, hiding enemies, puzzles and rare events. Your camp unlocks extra ways to grow stronger, and encounters with mysterious entities gradually reveal the true purpose of your journey. With every floor, the pressure mounts and the whispers grow clearer.
