This game hooked so many people that it was hailed as a masterpiece. The story is gripping and at times unpredictable. Detective Payne's tale is a tangled one. He was framed for something he did not do and had to go into hiding, and that is how he tracked down the people responsible for the death of his family. The series is packed with gunfights and its trademark slow-motion effect.
Fans waited a long time for the third installment, and at last it is here. Download Max Payne 3 and jump nine years ahead into a new adventure. Max has quit the police and spends day after day drinking in a bar. Everything is falling apart: depression and painkillers. But he is forced to leave for Brazil after he kills the son of a mafioso, and not just any mafioso but the boss himself. A friend helps him out, and a wealthy local real estate mogul hires Max as a bodyguard. Just as Payne starts to think his life is finally getting back on track, things go wrong: the mob has people everywhere, and they kidnap his employer's wife and daughter.
Game Features
Cunning and tactics. Bullets fly from every direction. Dodge them and use anything you can get your hands on. Cover is placed there for a reason, so the old tricks of slow motion and agility may not be enough to save you.
Effects. Shoot a wall and you get a bullet hole left behind. Trigger slow motion and you see the trigger pull and the shell casing ejecting from the gun.
A movie. The game world feels truly real, and once you start playing you will not regret it for a second. Euphoria, the built-in physics system, is what makes such a lifelike world possible. No canned animations: everything happens live, right before your eyes.
Allies. Yes, there are characters who help you push forward, and unfortunately you cannot do without them. It is a good idea to rely on their help, or Max will be killed around the next corner.
