This turn-based strategy game takes you back to the dark years of the Third Reich. You lead a resistance movement of people who refuse to accept the Nazi regime. Keep in mind that the main character is not a real historical figure but someone created specifically for the game.
You can download Through the Darkest of Times for free and weaken the Third Reich from within, slowly pushing it toward its logical, tragic end.
All 4 periods of the regime appear in the game as separate chapters, in which German resistance fighters take on the Nazis with whatever strength they have. The story begins in 1933 and ends along with World War II in 1945.
As the resistance leader, you have to recruit new members, hand out tasks, delegate authority and make difficult decisions that affect the fate of the people.
